Sesame Chicken Skewers
Ingredients:
3 lbs boneless chicken strips
1/3 C soy sauce
2 T honey
2 T cider vinegar
1 T peeled and minced ginger root
1 T sesame oil
2 T garlic cloves minced
1/4 t cayenne pepper
3 T sesame seeds
Skewers
Directions:
Combine all ingredients and marinate chicken overnight.
Slide slices of marinaded chicken onto skewers like a ribbon.
Place skewers onto a backing rack on a cookie sheet.
(make your own rack out of aluminum foil by folding back and forth like a fan)
Sprinkle chicken skewers with sesame seeds.
Bake at 425 degrees for 30 minutes or until crispy.
Serve warm or at room temperature.
These are great appetizers for parties or to take with you to pot lucks.
They can be made ahead of time and refrigerated.
