Tiny Tea Tarts

TINY TEA TARTS

Ingredients for Crusts:

2 Cups flour

1 lb. package cream cheese (8 oz)

2 sticks butter or margarine (Mom used margarine)

Divide dough into 48 balls (they will be tiny). Put one into each tiny cupcake tin. Press into cups to make a tiny pie crust.

Ingredients for Filling:

1 ¾ Cup brown sugar

2 eggs

1 Cup ground nutmeats (we use walnuts)

2 Tablespoons melted margarine

1 teaspoon vanilla

Bake on 350 degrees for 20 – 30 minutes

 

These are great little tarts with tea or coffee. They also make great holiday treats and gifts.
