Crock Pot Roast Beef and Gravy
CROCK POT ROAST BEEF AND GRAVY
Ingredients:
3 – 4 pound cut of beef (chuck roast is my choice)
1 large can diced tomatoes
1 can cheese soup
1 can beef bouillon
salt and pepper
2 tablespoons cornstarch
Directions:
You may brown the beef on top of the stove before placing into the crock pot, but it is not necessary.
Place all ingredients except the beef into a large crock pot.
Stir and add salt and pepper. Place the beef into the pot. Turn temperature to low and let cook all day.
20 minutes before serving, remove the beef and place on a cutting board. If you want a thicker gravy: add 2 tablespoons of cornstarch to a cup of water and stir. Add the cornstarch mixture to the crock pot liquid to thicken. Let cook for 15 minutes on high. (If you like a thinner gravy-just serve)
Slice beef and serve with the gravy over noodles, rice or mashed potatoes.
